The cover includes a tiny photograph of Pan American Airways Boeing 314 “American Clipper” at anchor, surrounded by an elaborate illustration including a map, the Seal of the Territory of Alaska, and a Sikorsky S-42 in flight over a scene with bear and whale in landscape.
